and no I didn't ask if it was healthy! I said POSSIBLE! That's pretty much gonna be one pound a day... but I say it is possible because they are already so large and it seems like it is easier for larger people to lose weight.

It takes 3500 calories to make one pound and a reduction of 3500 calories to lose it. To lose that by diet alone, the person would have to be currently consuming more than 3500 cal per day to reduce by that amount. or be physically able to exercise many hours every day. I would think a 20 or 25 lb loss would be more realistic. If you try to lose any faster than that the body will automatically go into a reduced metabolic stage and retain every calorie consumed to prevent starvation. Be sensible about it and enjoy the long term health that will accompany it

I'm 16 years old and I weigh about 135 pounds, I'm 5'4'' and I look great and feel great, which means you probably look great too. I think the reason you would like to be skinnier is because you are recovering from Anorexia. Take a really good look at yourself in the mirror...and honest, long look at yourself and take it all in. Look at every part of you and you'll realize that you're probably feeling over-weight because you are recovering. If I were in your shoes I would give it some time until you are fully recovered. When you get to that stage you will probably feel better. It does not matter how big or small you are, it's who you are. It sounds as though you are at quite a healthy weight, if you ask someone who is just about your height and weight.

Yeah, I guess it's possible.
Diets are okay and everything, but they can decrease your metabolism, causing your body to conserve fat. What you really need is some long, slow aerobic exercise. Go for at least 12-15 minutes per day, and don't stop doing this once you get rid of the weight you want to get rid of.

Yes. It's called the "don't eat anything" diet. Drink water, don't eat anything, do lots of physical activing and you'll lose 60 pounds.

You can also lose 60 pounds of fat via liposuction.

Good luck. When you get out of the hospital, let us know how it went.

I believe it can be done...by pure willpower. Eat only to live, don't live to eat, as some of us do...hehe

Eat only light stuff like veggies and fruit...exercise as much as you can. Good luck!
