Yes, massage it often, several times per day as you are cuddling..You can use a lotion if you like, to make the massage easier..Massaging helps with the blood flow, and increases the strength of the cartilage..
Make sure that you are feeding a premium dog food, with the most digestible nutrients..such as Canidae, Innova, Wellness, Solid Gold, Natural Balance, or Purina Pro Plan

"Cartilage" in the ears is what makes the ears stand up. If the ears were erect before and one isn't now, it could mean that blood flow to the cartilage has decreased, or that the cartilage was damaged somehow. You can try massaging the ears or using warm compresses to increase blood flow; or you can take the dog to the vet to see if the ear has been permanently damaged.

But the flop-over ear is kind of cute, isn't it?

You can always do what the first person who answered said and also, if you so choose, you can take him to the vet and have them tape his ear up which will force the cartilage to grow the way you want it too. Sometimes it is just a quirky phase that the cartilage is going through and it will straighten back out on its own. My dog's did.

Love the dog regardless of if it's ears are breed standard.
