Good question. I read the book. I do not believe that Mary is the holy grail. I believe it could be possible that Jesus was married because most male Jews were married. It is also possible that he married Mary Magdalene, but if so, it would have been removed from the bible when the books were canonized, especially by catholics. They only want one Mary and that is the Virgin Mary. Mary Magdalene was a good woman who had her sins taken from her and followed Jesus. I am a Christian and my belief is that if the answer is not found in the bible, it is left up to the person to decide. Since most do not speak of Christ as being married, we all believe he was not. I would not think of Him as less Holy either way, but would not think that the person he married was holy, ever. Only God can do that.

I read a book on Luciferian beliefs that said that Da Vinci was
a gay man in a time when it was vehemently condemned.
He was bitter, and put lots of crazy symbology in his paintings.
Like Mary Magdalene getting stabbed in the back in his painting
of the Last Supper.
It said his picture of the Virgin Mary shows a phallic symbol
right above her head. But people block it out. I don't know, I
haven't seen these myself.
But he was supposed to be a Baptiste. A follower of John the
Baptist opposed to Jesus. They say John and Jesus were rivals.
I don't believe it. I think their followers started a rivalry.

When I read the book I thought that it could be plausible. But I know without a doubt now that Jesus Christ is the incarnate of God. This is what I believe with all my heart. The account of Jesus Christ in the Holy Bible is True. He was prophecised for many thousands of years, through Isaiah of his coming into the world. I know Him personally, He came in the flesh 2000 years ago and when he died and rose again he left his Holy Spirit.
But I did like the book, interesting subject to debate from our human point of view. Didn't like the film as much. Deception Point by Dan Brown for me was a better book. Good question to ask.

There is no prrof that the DaVinci Code is real. However the idea it brings up that there are other teachings/records of Christ out there is quite possible. Remeber the church/ all religion for the purpose of this discussion is led by humans and all humans have flaws in them. In the Bible it says that Jesus told his followers that each of us is a temple. All religions are unfortunately something of a business all of which would be bankrupt if everyone led good lives and prayed thru the temple within themselves.

It is a fictional novel. It may have a ring of truth to it, but many of the so called "facts" in the book are historically inaccurate especially the information given on the knights of Templar.
I loved the controversy it caused! Some people can be so like sheep!

Why would anyone consider it a true story when the author himself said it was fiction? Guess what people? Fiction means its made up, just like all his other books. Good read, but not true and he never said it was true.

Depends which bit you mean - obviously the majority is made up but Jesus has been proven to exist and in all likelihood did have a family. They have traced a Sarah of Nazareth born in Egypt and grew up in France . Check wikpedia. com

Jesus is my lord and savior and i would not be offended in any way if he had married mary magdaline. Marriage is a beautiful thing and not sinful and jesus deserved to be loved. I would be so happy for jesus to have found and married a love because he deserves too. I love jesus and always will.
