Good and evil are desires.
G-d told Cain "sin crouches at the door but you can be it's master".
I think it's pretty clear HOW to be moral. He explained how.
Best wishes,

Good is God. It is everything that comes from him and that he created. It is when we obey the Commandments and follow the Golden Rule. It is every kind and loving act and thought and feeling that we have. It is contrary to evil. Evil is the destruction and corruption of all the gifts God has given to us. It is each time we fail to follow the Way. It is all the feelings of hatred and anger and lust and gluttony that you and I always struggle with. Note that God didn't create evil, evil was created by those that he gave the gift of free will to.
We as Christians can be moral by following the Commandments and the teaching of Christ. If you can measure yourself before
god and yourself and know that you've tried you best, then I think that's as moral as it gets. (Just because were Christians doesn't mean we are holier than any one else.)

Good and evil only exists in the mind. By dividing the elements of our world into good and evil, we might end up with people like George W. Bush or Hilter. Think about it, they have their own opinions of good and evil. By mere unsound justification that Jews are the "evil ones", Hilter can persecute them as he pleases. George Bush tends to see the world as black and white. Grey areas rarely happens in his perception. Labeling countries as the "axis of evil" only creates discriminaiton and lead to more war and violence.
To answer your quesiton, God is neither good or evil. He supports whatever cause any man wants him to support, and his view of good and evil is not omnipotent as it is widely believed, but shaped by the forces of man's thoughts and actions.
"God loves America", so says Americans and George W. Bush. But God loves the rest of the world too right? What if God favoured the so called "Terrorists" and is the very divine force behind the 9-11? Would we accept the event as divine intervention and that God is still "Good"?
God is not above Good or Evil. He is within us, and we are the very perpatrators of whatever we deem as Good and Evil. Heaven and Hell is created within our minds.

look at this name: Devil
do you see good? no EVIL all you need to add is the 'd"
God has no negative and especially the word evil does not describe him. God is just missing a letter. It is 'o"...which is good.
Yes, God is good. The devil is the one who is evil.
God is awesome!

GOD is Nothing but GOOD.
Anything GOD Thinks, Does (Creates) or Says (HIS Word) is all GOOD.
When you pervert any of this, it can become Lies, Errors, Evil and Wickedness etc.
