That's the problem with this world. Too many prejudiced people and racism. I don't look at anyone by their skin color. I look at people by their character, personality and how they will treat you. I have nothing against people dating different races at all. I think everyone should do what makes them happy and forget what anyone else thinks. Just be prepared for alot of people looking and staring at you if you date a person out of your race. I am a white female and have dated black men since High School. People should not judge someone by their skin color but too many do. They will be punished for that one of these days when they have to answer to God for the way they act. The only thing I have seen in my lifetime so far is that in smaller towns like I live in, if a black guy and a white girl are together and have kids, the kids suffer alot because other kids make front of them. They call them ******* and honkeys among other horrible things. It is just not right period. Do what makes you happy because you only have 1 life to live right now. You will always hear how wrong it is for black and white to mix, but I wonder why it is so bad to date a black person and not as bad to date a Spanish guy. Still different skin colors. But for some reason, people just have a really big problem with white and black mixing. They are just ignorant and need to treat everyone the way they want to be treated. I have been with some super nice black men before. I just say, go for whatever makes you happy and ignore the ignorance that is in this world. Good luck.

I think there is no profit in mixed race relationships, I am amazed at the masses within our society. The laws of most western governments on this important issue is hypocritical. Why should I say such a thing, well, my instincts and observations all point to the fact that what is good for the goose is apparently not good for the gander. Let me explain, I believe most sincerely that they, the powers that be who advise our governments and to a large extent, dictate, would most certainly not allow their children to dilute their genetic heritage. Yet, because of governmental laws and their control of media and their output of advertising and programming have purposely lowered morals. This has led to a break down of unity within society. There was a time not too long ago where people no matter their creed or colour pulled together to assist each other in times of difficulties. Now we have large sections of society with poor morals, little respect, little if no education, who all seem to search out instant fixes. The outcome of this is many one parent families, who's fathers take no interest be that emotional or financial in either the mothers nor more importantly the innocents, namely the children. Who in turn grow up as prison fodder. In this modern age this is an outrage, absolutely diabolical. What is even worse is that in my estimation, this has been planned, organised and executed. When tempers run hot you have to stay cool and retain focus, the worst of all the isms is most certainly not racism, nor is it sexism, it is and has always been classism. These are classist dictates executed for the purpose of splintering society, while they keep their own ranks tight and in line in order to forward to the coming generations.

society is going to make it more difficult on the couple but there is no reason they should not date based on skin color. A much better guide would be to look at background, economic levals and if there is any common ground between the two people. These things and a few dozen more are a lot better way to judge who should date who than by the color of someone's skin.

I firmly believe that there's nothing abnormal about two consenting adults wanting to pursue a relationship, regardless of skin color, ethnicity, etc. - it's not like we are different species.
That said, I also want to say that interratial relationships just creep me out. For me, although I don't openly judge on such matters, I feel that such relationships look weird and unnatural. I know I shouldn't be saying this, and I'm not racist but it just looks creepy and wrong.
But then again, that's just my opinion. Interracial couples, I applaud you.

depends. It is a cultural thing that swings both ways. Personally My family would rather I NOT, but I dont find them attractive so its not really a problem, but my friend loves Latin men, and her family despises anything not Persian. Good luck.

Surely the question should be Why should they not? People are people. I don't understand why people need to define and divide themselves because of race.

Color doesn't matter. We are all God's people and all equals. There is nothing wrong with different races dating or even marrying.

I don't see why not. There's no more segregation in schools or at bus stops, so why segregate the dating scene?
