I'm looking for a good cardio exercise (a couple would be great) that I can do in my apartment with little to no equipment. I tried to take up running but there's no way I can convince myself to get outside in 35 degree weather. Jumping rope isn't going to work because the space isn't big enough, and I have downstairs neighbors who probably wouldn't appreciate the noise anyway.

Any ideas?

Run in position, leaping jacks, leap rope. Pretty so much any endeavor DVD; Tae-bo is exceptional. And you'll be able to continuously get out of the apartment too. Go for a stroll, cross swimming you probably have a lake on your the city.

Check with local rec centers in your area. I go to a "boot camp" offered three days a week at my rec center, it's almost free. I love it and it's always more fun to work out with a group.
