I couldn't agree more, when they have thier protests and out comes the Mexican flag I get P.O.'d. If they realy want to impress it should be the stars and stripes but 9 times out of 10 its not.
crissymm, you completely miss the point, further more the average American doesnt just happen to have a German or Irish flag hanging around, we have the American Flag!

I live in Mexico, and i'm worried of all of what is happening in the USA with the immigrants because we are aware our economy is very dependant on the people who is working at the USA, as well as on the comercial relations with your country. The really bad thing is that you are not aware of this fact, we have a simbiotic relation, whether we like it or not, our governers have built this relation since a long time ago, and it is very complex and dependant on each other. You should try to get more information and not to take a position without knowing all of the facts. America uses the labor, and Mexico has not been able to have the economical growth we need to give all the citizen a good job. The demography is important as well, a big percentage of the people on the USA is about to get the age to be retired, and in Mexico our population is young. That's another fact, listen to the business man, they are aware of this fact, and that's why some of them are supporting the immigrants. I now it's been done in the wrong way, and i am concious that my conationals are "illegals" in the USA. But that have been a problem that should have been solved a long time ago, and neither your government, neither mine, did anything. At this point this is a lot more complex than a wall, or to deport them back, have you visualized how much work would it take to deport them all back here? or send them to jail? There are millions of illegal immigrants. Are we smart enougth to find solutions? In Mexico we have a lot of things to do, and solve, that's correct, and i believe the only way we have is voting, learning, working, and raising our voice to demand the govern some solutions to our situation. But this is just a little part of the ecuation! I hope we all - Mexican, American, legal immigrants, illegal immigrants can think about. There is not need to build walls - aren't Americans againts walls? against represions? aren't you againts the free market? That's what you have built and show to the world for all of the modern times.!!!

Putting your flag on foriegn soil is symbolic for claiming that land as your countrys.property. We have surrendered much of Florida and the southwestern united states to Mexico, Cuba, and Puerto Rico, and the American government concedes this because it is a peacefull takeover, and as the American people have shown acceptance of this because instead of taking the matter into their own hands via the second and ninth amendments, The American people have chosen to wring their hands and allow the government to support the overthrowing of our constitution and the principles our ancestors died for.
If a government paved the the way and paid the way for my country and culture to overtake their country, I'd be waving my flag over their soil too.

I can't believe how many thumbs down you got for this question! It completely blows me away. I've never seen so many ANTI-AMERICANS in all my life. They don't deserve to be Americans. They ought to just move to Mexico if they're going to have this attitude towards the USA. Just leave and never come back. That's my opinion. And I agree with you 1000000%

I refuse to acknowledge my Mexican friends as foreigeners or illegal immigrants. America is theirs as much as it is of any American citizen. Let's face the fact, America is a multi-cultured country. It's full of immigrants from different countries and such patriotic gestures by immigrants don't demean their credentials as the citizens of America. USA wouldn't be a super power without sucking the talented crew from different countries. And if, they become Aerican citizens that doesn't mean they forget their roots. Stop cribbing. You should be ashamed of your disrespectful conduct.
As far as my Mexican friends are concerned, they have every right to be a part of America because America was once their part. Heck and now they need visa to visit their own country and then you question their intentions.
Moreover, slack rules and America's incompetency to prevent illegal immigration is responsible for this. Mexicans have every right to come here, but how about illegal immigrants from other parts of the world? Have you wondered how many people from Asia migrate illegally? And yet the inept immigration authorities can't do a thing about it. You can't throw million dollars on the street and expect no one to steal it. U.S. has to tighten its defences and rigorously prevent illegal immigration before moaning about it pointlessly.

Ask yourself what Mexican peoples do the job here..what type of job they are doing..which you cannot do with the American labor force,Machinery or through computer.Legal or illegal they have to franchise their rights. When the opportunities are not existing where they from they used to look for where the opportunities are.US peoples and Mexicans both are neighbored why not to share our love with them.We can't say or use the words like How stupid can they be.It's a insult of their nation. We must respect their autonomy.Don't forget we are leaders not the followers.

Everyone in America (excepting Native Americans) is an immigrant or a descendant of an immigrant. Immigrants came to this country looking for a better life.
In the past, the path to legal immigration was much easier than it is today, so many folks looking for a better life resort to illegal immigration. Can you blame them?
We don't condemn legal immigrants for showing national pride in their countries of origin. Why shouldn't Mexicans honor their heritage?

That is an excellent question - but not being an illegal, one I can only speculate at. So far, the U.S. has made it far easier to come here and work. Perhaps tighter controls on illegal immigration here in the U.S. would give them the push they need to make things different back home.
