if someone set up a website where everyone paid £1 and agreed that the money was given to a random person who has paid a pound into the same site, would you do it? The prize would be the number of pounds put in each week.
i just think something like this would be more appealing to people and everyone would have the same chance of winning.

I think that the government would consider that an unlicensed lottery and ban it.

That's an interesting question (can we send it through the regular mail). But how about this for a website...some needy persons story is told and whoever is the neediest of all the needys gets the pot from people who browse the website!

(It sort of stinks that you can't respond to my answer like you could on a message board but whateva)
