"daisy322_98" has about the weakest answer I've ever heard. I agree with some of the other people who've noted certain references to mystical "creatures" in books like Job, but I think there's also something to be said for the fact that the Bible has been translated time after time after time, and after a while, it only makes sense that some of the terms it evokes are not what we're accustomed to in the present day. It's not just going to come out and say, "And then God created DINASOURS, and He saw that they were ferocious." You have to read between the lines, and that applies to any historical document with foreign jargon that we're not used to. I also don't believe the Bible mentions every single thing God ever did; for example, I believe in aliens of some sort, but the Bible never speaks of them. The Old Testament is an archive of important events preceding the birth of Jesus, and perhaps the T-Rex was not entirely relevant to those occurrences.

Day six with the other land animals. They were just reptiles. Some were huge, but most not. They are mentioned in Chapters 39 and 40 (I'm pretty sure) of Job. Job is the oldest book of the Bible. They are referred to as Behemoth and Leviathan. The word dinasour wasn't in the language until the mid 1800's. Job was written about 4,000 years ago.

there are many things in the Bible that were created in those six days that are not mentioned. There aren't cats or dogs or many other types of animals mentioned in the Bible. When it refers to all the creatures of the land that covers every animal that has existed and does exist still today. If every single detail of all time was mentioned in the Bible and broken down to every animal the Bible it's self would be 5x as large as it is... It's common sense.

Job 40:15 (and other places) discuss a Behemoth, which sounds rather like an apatosaurus. In Job 41:1 (and others) the Leviathan is mentioned, and sounds like a ferocious dinosaur, perhaps even a Tyrannosaurus Rex. It's hard to say for certain, but these two creatures seem like dinosaurs.

A-ha! You found it! The single point that everyone has missed! BRILLIANT!
Or maybe you failed to do any type of original research into this issue that might include reading the Bible in its original language(s). There is a specific term that is translated as "Big Lizard" that is in addition to the amphibians and land creatures and fishes that are listed in Genesis. Easy to speculate that that reference is to dinosaurs.
But in either event, your point is still misguided. The Bible clearly does NOT pretend to be a "how to create the universe in 7 easy steps" guide, but instead is focused on man's relationship to God, how it was tainted and how it is to be restored.
The Bible doesn't mention the internet either - so does the internet not exist, or is this another piece of evidence for your point?

There is.
The Behemoth is mentioned in the book of Job and the description closely matches a Brontasaurus (sorry if I misspelled), and the Leviathon is also mentioned that matches descriptions of the sea dinasours.

God created heaven and earth is six literal 24 hour days, not thousands of years. Evolution is a FAIRY tale that they prepare in public colleges Dinosaurs are patently suggested contained in the Bible 34 situations. The Hebrew words are Behemoth, Leviathan and Tannyin. The be conscious "dinosaur" became not invented till 1841. The King James Bible became written in 1611. the problem-loose be conscious for "dinosaur" till now 1841 became "dragon". Why do many, many cultures have dragon legends? (because dinosaurs did not stay sixty 5 million years in the past) Why are there thousands of historic drawings, pottery, sculptures, and so on obviously exhibiting dinosaurs, many with men? How did men comprehend what they appeared like if dinosaurs died out sixty 5 million years till now guy? (because men and dinosaurs lived jointly) Why did a Pleisourus wash ashore in la in 1925 and yet another stuck by technique of a eastern trawler in New Zealand in 1974? ? (because dinosaurs did not stay sixty 5 million years in the past) Why were evolutionists very much shocked to locate clean blood contained in the bones of a T Rex in Montana in 1991? yet another in Argentina in 2010? (because dinosaurs did not stay sixty 5 million years in the past) THE BIBLE is ideal. technology needs to seize UP.

They didn't--at least as far as the Bible is concerned. When the Bible was written, the concept of a dinosaur was unknown, and found dinosaur bones were credited to known animals or to fictitious ones, like dragons. Basically, the theories and facts that we are privileged to were unknown to the Bible's authors, hence the omission.
Now, you can take that and run to whatever conclusion you like; I'm not in the business of debunking or force-feeding religion on anyone. But, surely, it is food for thought.
I hope that helps.

actually, there are mentions of dinosaurs in the Bible, in Job. I'm sorry that I don't know thae exact reference for you, but I want to say it's near the middle of Job. Also, a great sea creature is talked about in Psalms and two other places in Scripture.

Seriously, it depends on what says your talking about. Time as we know it passes much faster for God then us. Those 6 days could equal 60 billions years or something. No one knows for sure, but the earth has definitely older then 6000 years.
BTW, you know many bones are find in the Utah area. Many paleontologists are also very religious.
