mom so doesnt have to worry about money for college. Hes going to propose right before he goes to Basic and AIT (15 Weeks all together). So shell be in high school while hes in training and gets set up in Texas. (Hes not planning on enlisting and going to basic until part way through her senior year so she wont be in high school and him being in Texas for the over half the year, but is going to propose after his graduation. That way he can also save up some money still living at home over the summer) Plus, theyre inlove; she would say yes, and thats not comming from him; thats comming from me.
Shes going for 8 years to be an orthodonist; so halfway threw when he gets moved to a new post; she can go w/ him and take courses on his base (She said shed be willing to do it but never talked about marriage). If he got deployed shed just continue their in Texas until he came back, or if the worst should happen, sadly try to continue w/ her life w/o him. The Army isnt exactly the best

money; but w/ the benefits can pay the bills and put food on the table. But shell be making $150,000-$500,000 when she gets out of college so money isnt a problem.
I cant find anything really wrong w/ it, like I said; these guys would go to hell and back for eachother. What do you think about it?

I think they have everything thought out. They seem very mature about laying the ground work for a future together.

If the military is want he wants and she has agreed to the point of even looking 8 years down the road as to where they might be living, support their decision.

As for worst case scenarios - life isn't a guarantee.

My one son survived and flourished in the Army and did his time in Iraq and loves every moment . Our oldest son worked 20 miles from home in a nice safe office and died in a car accident going to work on a bright sun shiny day..

You never know what tomorrow may bring - or you might not want to wake up.
