Would like to hear some opinions/insight on this matter since people seem to have very differing ideas on the topic

I would be happy if all nuclear weapons in the world just disappeared, but since that is unlikely to happen, we should only use them in a defensive mode.

Only if we are the United States is fired up on first with nuclear weapons, then the world will turn into HELL.

The ones we have now seem good. If I were President on 9/11 I would have nuked SOMEBODY. Maybe that's what he was thinking in that grade school...."if I get up now, I'm going to Nuke somebody,...stay calm....."

What limitations should Iran and Korea have do you think? Since they know many Americans would never fight back?

Since Eisenhower was president the U.S. has had an official "no first strike" policy. As far as I know we will only use them in retaliation.

If they attack us we can drop the bomb on them as long as they aren't close enough that we (or any of our allies) would be affected by the fallout.
