what is the diifference between a auotomatic and standard transmission body lift kit for my 94 jeep wrangler?

The lift for the standard wont have the brackets and extensions for the automatic shift linkage.

One is for a jeep with a standard transmission (one you shift) and the other is for a jeep with an automatic transmission (one you don't shift).
If you shift gears get the standard kit .
If you don't have to shift gears then get the automatic kit.

HDKEVIN70 is correct...If you have an Automatic then you should buy that one due to the kits containing the right parts to work properly.
