What happens when you breathe in plastic fumes? I accidentally burned the plastic part of a pot and there was this very strong fume that came out as a result. I inhaled in lots and lots of it. Is it supposed to be harmful?

nothing if it's not a constant thing. If it happens on a regular basis then you could probably expect brain dammage and lung problems. Kinda like sniffing glue or gas fumes.

It could be worse if you are still getting side effects. In the mean time check out NASA's Clean Air Plant Study for cleaning up the inside of your home and office.
