What do you do to bring youself closer to your source of being?

I am Wiccan, and I celebrate all the major Sabbats with Rituals, and I tell the Goddess thanks every day for a beautiful world.

I'm very pro active in my faith- I have absolute faith in the evidence based scientific method. Evolution is absolutely sufficient to me to explain the source of my being and I read more about it every day. I am entirely evangelical in my Atheism. You should try reading "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins ... or for a start, just check out www.richarddawkins.net

I am an intuitive, healer, and interpreter or sorts
I bring myself closer by helping others
casting spells when needed, for the greater good
long distance healing, etc...

what helps me is to pray often. in my faith, it is believed that prayer is what binds us to God, to the spiritual place that is our soul's home. we are encouraged to pray when in distress, when feeling grateful, when seeking answers, or when the Spirit moves us.
i also see the work that i do within my community as an extension of my faith. i work with children in my city, and i believe that through reaching out and listening to others, i am also brought closer to my Faith and to God.
