You can never go wrong with Shakespeare, "Shall I compare thee to a Summer's day..." find a time when you feel confident enough to ask and just say the "magic words" whatever you feel will work best.

I was told a few years ago to go thru the numbers. Let me explain. Ask a many girls as you can to go out on a date. Wheter they're your type or not (just to practice). Number 1, it will help become confortable with rejection. And you will get a lot of that. So expect it, embrace it, but numbers don't lie, eventually you will have some girls that will say yes, maybe 1 out of 10. Step 2 is dating. Even if the girl you took out is not your type, just look at it as practice for when the right one comes around.

One does not act so pretentiously. One just lets things take their course and does not rely in age-old axioms like 'going steady' to dictate a time and place to move a relationship to the next level. One, if male, remains strong but caring, and hopes that the female recognizes this as a virtue worth pursuing.
There are sadly no words, magical or otherwise, that can seal the deal for one.
But, unpretentiously speaking, flowers once in a while couldn't hurt.

ok im a girl and ive alwayz been asked out. honestly it all depends on ur personality. since i dont know u i cant say for sure but if ur the funny type of guy do something crazy like make a t-shirt(only if u noe she'll say yes and bring another 2 change into after she anwsers), or try a pickup line "u remind me of a magnet cuz ur oh so attractive" get her laughing and then ask her or like if ur sweet make a poem " im in love, cant u see, so make my day and go out w/ me" cheezy i noe but hey it worked on me. or juss go up 2 her look her straight in the eyes and say "ive liked u for a long time, and i waz wondering if u'd like to go out w/ me, if not its ok and im fine being friends b-cuz u mean alot to me" Best of Luck

If you haven't gone out with her yet but you know her: you just ask her. Don't complicate things. Just ask: would you like to go out sometime? or would you like to go out to (dinner, coffe, whatever)?
If you are already going out with her, but would like to make it exclusive, just wait for a nice moment, some point where you are comfortable, and tell her that you feel good about the relationship and would like to be exclusive.
Just dont think too much and do it :)

just ask her out if she is shy she might be scared but if popular they have no problem speaking their minds.
