if you eat the salt with a liquid such as tap or bottled water your still drinking salt water so whats the difference, how can the salt in the water make you sick if you still eat it with food

Well at the first place u answered ur own question, and who told u drinking water from the sea makes u sick.Ur question sounds kidding, Salt is salt and u should know salt itself kills germs, that is why u swim in the sea and sometimes swallow but u dont get sick.

It's not that there's necessarily something wrong with drinking salt water, but it can't be as substitution for non-salted water. Too much salt in your diet is extremely bad for you, and I do believe that an 8-ounce glass of salt water supplies more salt than what you should intake every day.

if u drink water like tap water or bottled then ur hydrating urself, but sence salt absorbs water or watever then ur just dehydrating urself, so i guess u could drink it, if u really wanted to

when you drink water... you ... well "hydrate yourself" when you drink salt water you are dehydrating yourself because salt drys up water, and there is a high consentration of salt in salt water... basically your becoming more dehydrated and not "re-hydrating yourself."
