I was born with blond hair, then it turn dark brown, now its turning kind of reddish? Has anyone else had something like this happen? It is possibly my imagination, too... :|

The blond to brown part really isn't that unusual; the second part seems strange. I don't spend a lot of time in the sun, but that could be partially responsible nonetheless.

No, it's not your imagination. My daughter has had the same thing happen to her. First she was a "carrot top" when she was born, then it became strawberry blond, now it's ash blond and getting darker.

At least you do not have not prematurely grayed, like me!

Just think of it as a "new look" for you and enjoy the change.

I was born with bleach blonde hair, then it turned brown, and sometimes it gets a reddish tint to it if I'm in the sun.

Actually, most brown hair has reddish undertones, so if you ahve been swimming or doing activities which would tend to lighten your hair, the red would begin to show up.

Hair can also change colours (aside from the normal grey/silver progression) in response to certain medications. Many times people who have chemotherapy and lose their hair have it grow back in a new colour and texture!

My hair was red as a penny and curly when I was born. Stayed that way until I was about 5 years and then it changed to a cottony white blonde until puberty. Then it turned brown and now it looks mousy brown.

I was also born blonde and I am slowly turning into a brunette. It's a dirty blonde right now. When I used to swim, my hair was a bleach blonde, but now that I quit it's getting darker.

the red coloring could be from chemicals or iron in the water...

Mine went totally white when I was about 12, then the color came back, then the ends went white... then the color came back, but streaky. It continues to go completely colorless about every 2 or 3 years!

I know a lot of people who were blonde when they were young but whose hair got darker as they got older. It's nothing abnormal, though I couldn't tell you why it happens.
