I think "wrong" or "right" is completely dependent on the two people involved. When I was 16 I had a 22 year old friend who really wanted to date me. I liked him a lot but I just didn't feel ready for the kind of relationship he wanted. If both people are honest and open about where they are and what they want out of a relationship then it might feel "right" to them. However, having a sexual relationship at that age is against the law is some states, so both parties should be aware or the statutory rape laws.

That is actually illegal. Its called Statutory Rape.
I dont feel that a sixteen yr old should be dating a twenty two year old man. You are at different places in life. For crying out loud, you arent even old ebough to buy cigarettes. Your worlds are opposite right now. BUT when you are more like 21 and he is 27 (still 6 yrs apart) I can see you maybe making it work. I have nithing against older men; You just need to be in the same age graphical area.
Therefore, yes it is wrong.

I think it is very wrong for a 22 year old to be dating a 16 year old, whether it be male or female. First off it becomes illegal once sex is intrioduced into the equation. Have you heard of statutory rape. And secondly, where are the parents of this 16 year old, and what are they doing about the situation?

since its against the law and the 22 yr old is now in violation of child laws, statutory rape, etc....yes its wrong.
let alone if a 22 yr old has to date a 16 yr old, that shows a real lack of maturity and growth on the 22 yr olds part. shows they have issues and problems.

its a mixed situation here because people would argue that my bf is 10 years older then me and we happily married and so on, but i truly doubt that 22 year old would be with u for a long time. I think it would be more sex and then leave u hurt

Legally, Yes. From a fathers point of view, Yes. As a Male, it is every guy's fantasy about 16 year old girls, but still, wrong. Date your own age, enjoy. after your 18, then you can legally date whomever you want. And if you cry it's Love, love will wait, but boys wanting only one thing will not.

kind of weird. If the 16yr old was a girl and a relative of mine, I'd kick the **** out of the 22yr old. Plus, any sexual activity between the two constitutes statitory(sp) rape. wait a couple of yrs and go at it.

the age gap makes me wonder how mature is his man,be careful a lot of older men with younger girls notice i didn't say women try to use and abuse them he should be reported if your dad doesn't get to him first
