That's an excellent question. Jesus seems way more scary then Lucifer could ever be. How about you go as Jesus and I'll go as Mary Magdalen,his whore?

Because it's a pagan ritual and not a holiday at all. It can also be a normal festival and celebrated as Harvest Festival or Fall Festival. Halloween was originally called All Hallows Eve or All Souls Day for the Celtics. A day when the dead walked among us. Some believe if they dressed up during this day, the dead souls of our relatives wouldn't recognize us and would leave us alone. This was a Festival throughout Europe and it made it's way here as a day for the children to get some goodies. It's really harmless even though I am a Christian, if I don't celebrate it as "All souls day" then it's not sinful.

because halloween is the day of the devil, thats why people dress up as evil things, and scary things. Jesus isnt scary. Halloween is the day of the devil. Thats why

Ya know that is a good point...Tou see alot of evil related costumes on halloween..But I tell you this..Go to a church on Halloween where they are having a festival and you will see children dressed up like Jesus...Wise Men..Angels..Etc...

i think because as a society its the one night where people can be politically incorect and be what they really fear they are. no one could ever measure up to jesus, but many people feel there devil material becuase we all sin

I had a friend that dressed as Jesus last year...cross and all. Think it might be due to props...and maybe some will think it is blasphemous.
