99% of the time the felons are ordered to stay away from children. Why in the hell would you want your children to be around a molestor? Once they do something like that they cannot be rehabilitated no matter what anyone says. It has been proven time and time again. Please don't put your children in that situation-it could destroy their lives
also remember-you are who you associate with. and everyone knows who the sex offenders are, do you want people thinking you are one too or that you are a sick bastard?

There are guidelines... Each Child Molester is given a set of guidelines when they are released.. Most of these guidelines call for them not to be in the social company children...
Your best bet is to contact the person (child molester) in question and get the guidelines from them or you can contact the parole department in your area for a set of te guidelines...
I am however not sure why you would want to have a child visit a child molester That's like covering yourself in gasoline and playing with matches... Not a bright idea...

Convicted child molester's are not able to have at least 100 feet to 500 feet of school districts or any relation to kid functions.
Therefore, there is no guidelines as it is prohibited by law.
If a parent wants to have their child visit a preditor, that parent is condoning and not protecting their child. In addition, should have no custody if not going to protect their children.

Convicted child molestors are usually fobidden from having any contact with minors (Under the age of 18). They should NEVER be able to be with a child, even if there is an other adult around...look what happened in Idaho...the adults and the older brother were killed so he could kidnap and molest the two younger children, and he killed the little boy. They CANNOT be trusted at all!

Guidelines?
No guidelines because there shouldn't be any "visits". Why would you allow a child to visit with a convicted child molester?

Here there is a chaperon program/training they have to complete with you. Then you are allowed to supervise this person with children under the age of 18. It cost about 100 to 150, takes about 3 sessions to complete, and sometimes is covered by insurance.
Here they make the person who is the child molester state what they did.
They make sure you understand what happened, counsel you so you can assist in anything that might occur (to prevent it), and you will not be allowed to have this person in your home for overnights or while you sleep if your children are there.
Make sure if you do this that you abide by the rules, otherwise the released inmate could be sent back to jail.

Guidelines regarding convicted felons and guidelines regarding child safety are different in every state. The real question is, why would you expose your child to some sick bastard????Check with the authorities who released the felon for information on how to put your child at risk.

I would make sure that you are with the person and the child at all times, and have an authoritative figure with you as well, always meet in a public place and make sure that you have siomething legal written up...go see your lawyer...but relly unless its there father and they want supervised visitation, why would you want to expose your child to this situation...you don't want your child to be a victim, do you?
