There was a big fire near where I live which made the air quality bad. I also have allergies, so I don't know if it's a synergy effect or what. I really need my voice back by tonight as I have been invited to an exclusive party and I need to impress certain people. Are there any easy home remedies to get my voice back?

I would try a salt water gargle to begin with to clean up any debris in your throat. Then mix equal parts of honey and lemon.Use that mix to keep your throat lubricated all night. The lemon will dilute any sinus drainage and the honey will coat and soothe your throat. You can use it as often as you need and it mixes well with hot tea which will also help. Good luck

try not to speak so louldly and stay in the house if it is smokey out side I know where Iive there is a fire going on two so I keep the doors and windos closed this is neer Banning California

First Gargle with alcohol-free mouthwash, then with salt-water, remember don't swallow. and then drink luke warm water and try using a humidifier. I'm not sure if it will work quickly enough but it will quicken the healing time.

Lots of resting the vocal cords and i would recommend hot green tea works wonders!

one of the most important things is to not whisper. just talk quietly when you have to; otherwise, don't talk. whispering is harder on the vocal chords than talking quietly.
drink warm tea.
i lose my voice several times a year; it always just takes a couple of days to get it back.
