Could be a common (cat) cold; an allergic reaction; or something stuck up its nose. If the vet says your cat is OK, then he must be - unless he develops other symptoms. One of my cats took a cold and a sneezong bout when he was about a year old... it ran its course (3 days max) and was fine. Kittens and young cats seem to get a bout of the sneezes then are fine after that. But just watch your kitten... if he looses his appetite or seem lethargic, call the vet again and re-incheck.

Cats adopted from shelters frequently pick up infections. Your kitten probably has a simple cold (yes, cats get them too). If he stops eating and becomes very lethargic, that could be a sign of concern, but if he is eating and active, don't worry. BTW all cats sleep a lot, but there should be periods during the day when he runs around like crazy and wants to play, especially in the evening. A cat that we adopted developed a bad cold soon after we brought her home and because extremely lethargic. When we brought her to the vet, she needed an IV because she was dehydrated, and he prescribed some medicine to help with her congestion. She recovered nicely and has never been sick since. But I did learn that cats adopted from shelters frequently pick up respiratory infections, which is a reason to keep adopted cats apart from any cats you already own until you make sure that they are healthy. Anyway, keep an eye on your kitten and take him back to the vet if he doesn't seem to get better after a couple days.

Hi sorry to hear that your kitten is not feeling well. Are there any other symptoms? or just sneezing? Do you have any other animals? Do you use a powdered carpet deodorizer? I also think that if the kitten does not improve - I would take it to another vet.

Give another week. Could be a cold, could be allergies. Then take "baby" to a different vet to make sure. Because it's a new place, you could have "things" that he's allergic to, just like it may take you and your sinuses a bit to get used to him. Good luck.

You should go see another vet to get another opinion because it sounds like your cat could have URI- a cat cold and if not treated properly it could be fatal!! My kitten had that and I took her to the vet, she took antibiotics and now, she is fine!

it ought to purely have a cold yet with small animals it would be ultimate to convey them to the vet in spite of everything. ensure the cat is heat by the evening and save it on your room merely in case. ensure the mum is close interior a similar room on the kitten as she will usually save the kitten heat for a mutually as. The kitten ought to be ok till you convey it to the vets yet do no longer pass out on bringing it. it extremely is merely what i think of is faulty and that i'm no longer a vet.

If he has gunk in his eyes and nose it could be an upper respitory infection. Very common in kittens. He may not have had an active infection when you took him to the vet. call the vet again on Monday....he/she may want to see it again.

take your kitten back to the vet may just be something simple but look out for any discharge from its eyes and nose this could signal cat flu which can be serious

Change of weather maybe but if your cat continues to sneeze it may have allergies, not uncommon for any pet really. My vet advised me to give my dog Benadryl because he is always scratching (no fleas) and rubbing his eyes.

It coud be several things.....there could be alot of dust where he's hiding at...i.e...under your bed, couch, tv, etc. Or, he could have a cold, or he could have some sort of upper respitory infection. How good is your vet ?? Might want to get a second opinion.
