Yes it's the same thing.
It's effects are that it makes you high and you get the munchies.
No, it's not usually fatal, but they say it does kill brain cells, and I guess it could cause lung cancer.
A joint is a cigarette made out of pot.

yes, pot=marijuana=mary jane= weed..... and the list goes on and on
you get lazy, think everything is funny, get really hungry, lose brain cells and memory.
you smoke it in a cigarette wrapper (the kind you use for rolling cigarettes) or in a bowl (it's a special type of "bowl"
it's a stupid drug. i dont think that smoking weed itself can kill u, but the side effects can make u do something that will get you killed.

they are both exactly same thing but as far as i know noones died from it but you never know these days and if you havent tryed it by now then dont
