I have no clear idea what you are asking but since this is the infectious disease section, I am going to take a shot in the dark.

I once knew a director of nursing who wanted to educate her staff on infection control she went around with this special solution and pretended it was a new antimicrobial alcohol solution. She asked all the staff to try it out and put it on thier hands. The solution was actually a chemical you could not see with the eye, but only under a special light.

Later in the shift, she went back and took each staff to a private area one by one and shined the light on thier hands. Many staff members still had areas on thier hands where the solution showed up... despite the fact they had been working for hours and supposed to have washed thier hands several times (between each patient).

This gave each staff education on where they were in thier handwashing policy.

If I were to implement a new program regarding infection control at a facility, I would start with this wonderful idea.
