None of those clowns are right. And none of your answers increase energy in water, your answers only reflecting a change in state. However there is an answer to your question on increasing energy of water that has to do with thermodynamics and that law, one is potential energy e.g. water behind a dam and the other e.g. is the height at witch water is falling (kinetic).
For "c" to be correct the question should have been worded what requires more energy.
