It is possible but very hard to do. There was an experiment done with this and it turned out that a grown man who ate 501 pounds of carrots over two weeks turned orange. Now these results will obviously vary.

Why do you want to be orange? The carotene in carrots that give them the orange color is what causes your skin to change. Back in the 80s there were tanning solutions available that you could take ''carotene'' pills. And yes with that high of dose of carotene the people turned an orange color.

Oh my goodness, this is a good one to turn into Urban and Legends. Sweetie, this is a myth. Not true at all. You can eat all the carrots you want and your skin will not turn orange. You've heard the expression you are what you eat? LOL Orange people.... ROTFLMHO. Now I've heard it all.

You'd have to eat a huge amount of carrots. However, if you drink a lot of carrot juice, your skin will take on a sallow hue.

yes its ture....carrots hav caroteen...
u hav to be fully only loading on carrots for like a month or more..
this happens cause ur skin cells use nutrients from ur food to stay hydrated...if u eat a coloured food like carrots..where evn the nutrients r orange..and this is the only nutrient given to ur skin...it will use the nutrients...hence turn orange

Most likely a myth, as there is nothing in carrots to have that effect on you.

You would have to ingest a large amount of carrots or carrot juice. It is the vitamin K. It is fat soluble.
