Good God !! I'd have to guess that beyond the THREE major US brewers : Anheiser-Busch, Miller, and Coors... there must be about 2000 other licensed brewers. The different labels must run around 5000...
"Today there are 1,371 craft breweries in the country, with annual retail sales of craft beer hitting $4.3 billion last year, according to the Brewers Association in Boulder, Colo. While craft beers hold only about 3.5 percent of the overall beer market in the United States, the segment of industry is growing"
My favorites are Anchor Steam... and plain old Bud-Lite

I think there are at least 300 microbreweries in the US. And then you add the imports, so I would say around 370 brands.
I tried over 70 different beers from 15 countries. I would say Canadian beers are among the best. Same goes for German beers. The best mass produced beer in America is Sam Adams.

That is a tough one.....I cannot tell you how many breweries there are in this country, they are popping up all over the place and brewing some mighty dandy beers.
As for my favorite, that is tough also.....I am a hop head....the Hercules Double IPA is amazing, Stone Ruination is also quite tasty, the Dreadnaught from Three Floyds is like the nectar of the Beer God.....everyone has their own taste....some like hoppy, some like stout, some like brown ales. Try them all, you will surely find something you like.

i think I certainly have tried a minimum of 500 beers. noticeably, Stella ranks extremely severe on my checklist. i think of that's between the main well liked tasting lagers it extremely is broadly available. standard, my all time sought after is Corsendonk Brown Ale. i'm prepared on a super form of the Belgian Abbey beers, yet Corsendonk Brown hits my palate merely perfect. i'm thoroughly subjective.
