I'm pretty sure that yogurt lasts at least 7 days past the sell before date. I know I personally have eaten it after that.

Every product is stamped with a "best used before date".
Every store must sell the product prior to this date. Now you might ask, where does this product go? Some goes back to the manufacturer for credit on the product or replacement. Other items like canned goods, spices, etc are sold off to Dollar Store chains. Ever notice a pack of cookies or even a candy bar from such a store doesn't taste right? Its cause all the food there is after the "best used date" but since its not a product like milk, eggs, etc and can't really spoil, they allow people to sell it up to 2 yrs after the date. Same applies for all holiday candies in all stores. They order in bulk candy, what isn't sold this year, they pack up in the back room until next year.
A smart shopper always looks for the date prior to putting anything in their cart, no matter what the product is.

In my opinion, the yogurt would be wholesome to eat as long as it looks and tastes good. How long that is after the sell by date depends on how well it has been kept cold.

If it became sealed and top refrigerated, smelled and regarded ok, i think of you're effective. Yogurt and comparable dairy products can certainly final long after the sell via date. merely believe your senses and be clever approximately it. :)

I never eat anything that's past its sell date since I have a sensitive stomach. I just don't want to take the chance.
