No I dont agree. I believe it's your upbringing that makes you a person not the fact that your legal parent or parents decided to adopt you in fact it's probably a good thing because they are going to a family that wants a child.

I don't get your question...you mean if the kid was aborted he could not have grown up to be a school shooter? If that's what you mean, I agree an aborted person couldn't grow up to be anything. If you mean someone was planning to abort a preganacy, but then didn't, and that person would somehow automatically grow up to become a school shooter--obviously not because there have sadly been many chilren who were not wanted and who nobody has properly cared for, while there are only a very few school shooters. Maybe they'd grow up to become a serial killer, prostitute, drug addict, mayor, miner, scholteacher, social worker, or anything else.

Well, many people tried to get my mom to abort when she was pregnant with me; obviously she didn't. I've never been violent even though an abortion was thought of and I was also spanked when I was younger. I had many friends in high school and graduated with a 4.0GPA. The person that said that is talking out of their butt because they are completely wrong. I wonder if they also think children born from rape would go on to rape when they are adults? My cousin is a child of rape and he's never did that...

A response to one of the other answers....obviously they have never researched abortion b/c it is possible to survive although extremely rare. I actually have a book written by a girl named "Gianna" who was aborted and lived. She was found by a worker at the clinic and she saved her. This girl, now grown, has written a book about her life named for herself.
As for become shooters...I think there are much deeper issues in their life as well as their homes to shape them into what they are.

Well, it's a stupid statement designed to get people angry but it is true that all murderers, school shooters, embezzlers, etc survived pregnancy and birth.

Of course, so did everyone who ever did anything good or worthwhile.

Exactly nineteen years after abortion was made legal nationwide in 1973, the murder rate peaked and has steadily declined since.

Murderers tend to be teenage boys or young adult men who grew up with no father at home.

Some statisticians argue that terminating a pregnancy that results in an unwanted child means that there are fewer violently angry young men who turn to violence and murder.

I didn't see that one... But there is a point there. An unwanted child will be more likely to be disturbed...
