It is customary for the Maid of Honor to enter by herself, immediately before the bride. The Best Man is usually waiting by the groom at the front of the hall. When exiting, the Maid of Honor is traditionally escorted by the Best Man.
He is also traditionally her escort for entering the reception. Seating at the head table, if there is one, may either be as pairs, or all the ladies on one side, gentlemen on the other.
Fear not, you don't have to spend the entire event in the Best Man's company if you don't choose to. But for your sister's sake, be gracious even if the Best Man is not to your liking.
If you are planning in bringing another guest to the wedding, they just have to understand that being Maid of Honor is a duty, a job, part of the pageantry and performance. No need for jealousy, you're just performing your part.

You walk down the isle by yourself. When the ceremony is over you walk out with the best man. You will have a reheardal and will know what to do usually the night before the wedding. Dont worry its going to be great.

It depends on what the bride and groom want. Sometimes the maid of honor walks down right before the bride alone and sometimes they will walk down with the bestman , however walking back down the isle once the ceremony is over, you will walk with him.

every time i was a bridesmaid/maid of honor i walked down the aisle alone. the men were already at the altar. when the ceremony is over, you usually pair up with the groomsmen and walk back down the aisle together in pairs. either way, whats the big deal? all eyes will be on the bride, not you!!

I think whatever your sister prefers... sometimes the groomsmen stand up with him and the bridesmaids walk down solo, but I personally think it would be better having equal groomsmen and equal bridesmaids so they could walk down together. If that is so, then I think it would be most appropriate for the maid of honor to walk with the best man.
Good luck with everything, and congrats to your sister and her future hubby!

At all of the weddings I have been to the Groom, best men ect. are all standing in front of the church or wherever it is held at. Then the bridesmaid walk in and then the bride. You will have to exit the wedding with him though.. Best wishes to your sister=))

It kinda all depends on how your sister has the attendants walking in, you will either walk in with him or alone, but generally when you exit you do walk next to him, then in the reception line you will stand with him and there will be photos with you and him.

I believe you enter and exit the aisle with the Best Man. Oh and so you won't be surprised, you'll have to make a toast.

Yes you will walk down the aisle together and walk out together. You will also need to dance with him at the reception. Have fun with it!
