hmmm, very well could be that I typed wrong.

well i am not a satanist, but i have studied the religion.
basically they see Satan as a metaphor for the natural instincts of all mankind and the animals of the earth.
they do not believe in sacrafice, (animal or human)
they do not believe in violating a person's free will.
they look to themselves to improve their lives.
they do not speak theri problems to people unless they are sure that the person wants to hear them.
it is basically the opposite of christianity in that it rewards people that live their lives as they wish to so long as they are not hurting others.
Anton Levay (author of the satanic bible) has 11 laws and 9 statements that really sum up Satanism.
i am sure that someone will post them.

I'm not a Satanist but I have studied some of it and it actually makes some sense, but I find it to hard to devote myself to any religion. There are different types of Satanism though. Lavey Satanists are atheistic and belong to the church of Satan they have a certain moral code or value system. They have rules like not to kill animals if you don't eat them or not to harm anyone accept if they harm you etc. Here is a link if you want to know the facts:

Other Satanists believe in reverse Christianity and believe the Devil is actually an older god with a new name. There are some Pantheist Satanists as well.

this is not an answer to your question as such, but i have noticed along with the others that you have spelt satanist wrong and have taken a few light-hearted jibes over this, but i have found that there seems to be some problem with yahoo, i use microsoft word and sometimes wordpad and rarely make spelling mistakes, when i type answers on yahoo i find dozens of the buggers,letters that appear that i know i haven`t typed.
