How do you achieve a wet look? (I don't want a gel...)?

Question

To acheive that wet look that makes your hair perfectly straight (like combed back like Italians perfectly straight...its shiny, looks wet...)? is it a certain oil, or is it the wet gels, I already have a wet gel but like all gels they eventually dry off within 2 hrs... I need the type that makes a guys curly hair straight...i've seen plenty of guys achieve this look, i just need it for certain occasions. Also, does it feel wet, or just look wet and is dry? I've never asked another guy, but I was hoping most of you know what I'm talking about and what type of product I should use.

It was all the go in my fathers day. It is called Brill Cream...not too sure about the spelling....but it will give you the exact look you want.

i kno how to get your hair like that... before you take a shower put some baby oil.. preferably johnsons baby oil in ur hair and let it set in for about 5 minutes.. then take a hot or warm shower or bath.. and let the water soak into ur hair making it extra smooth and soft.. then u can dry ur hair preferably with a towl o a blow dryer works too... and comb out ur hair and walahhh!! hope it workz for ya! =) oo an if u wanna get ur hair straight u jus buy those straighting shampoos that give u a perm and jus do that in the shower.... n after u dry ur hair put lil bit of oil because some of it might get washed away by the perm n ur hair will look wet but feel dry... enjoy! =)

you can try either a shine spray or a pomade it will look wet and shiny doesn't dry hard like a gel would hope this helps - from a cosmetologist

Try useing "Palmaide" it will give you the wet and straight look that your going for. The only thing that I dont like about it is that it say's greasy. There are other products that are similar but I'm not sure of there names.

After you wash your hair, don't dry it, comb through it the way you want it to look. Then spray that gel spray into it and Whah Lah, the Wet Look......

well im italian and my hair is always like that but one time my friend asked me how i do it that and then i foound a way to do her hair like that all i did was i waited for her hair to dry then i put the stuff called sunsilk straighten-up then i put like this hair oil and then i blew dry her hair then put sum more of the oil and it came out wicked pretty but if you wanted it to look wet try putting more oil it looks wet

I've always wondered this too, but I have seen people used this and I heard them saying they use "spray hair gel"

try hair wax

maybe you didnt get the proper wet look gel - use proper brand name - fructis is good

spray salt water into your hair and it will be stringy and shiny
