I have a quiet voice (that I've been trying hard to make louder) and I am a tiny bit shy with guys. Does this make the guys dislike the girl any? I hate it when a guy friend (not boyfriend, but I secretly like him a lot) or anyone, in general, has to go through the trouble of leaning closer to hear me... I feel that they I'm annoying them when they have to do that. Is that true, guys and girls?

For my personality, I try to be very (sometimes overly) nice, sensitive toward others, cheerful, and helpful. I'm pretty quiet though, but I'm improving a lot on that. ^^

well not necessarily, but it does make it hard for someone to get a point through. Guys like women who speak their mind without emitting shyness. My friend has the same problem and yes I do get a tad bit agitated like when we are riding the bus, I just have to smile and look because I don't understand what she is saying. But nonetheless, this personality trait doesnt not make me dislike her.

To me a girl that has a quiet voice and is shy is a major turn on because 99% of the time it means they are sweet, kind, unselfish and caring. Trust me if the guy doesnt like that in a girl hes usually looking for a one night stand

There is nothing wrong with a shy girl. But, one that has a quiet voice does get annoying.

It's a good thing that you are trying to get your voice louder. It's not just for dating reasons. Having too quiet of a voice could get you passed up for jobs and other opportunities in life.

Guys like girls that are quiet, guys like girls that are loud, guys like girls that act ignorant and some like girls that are sweet all the time.....get my point?

Maybe you should work on talking a bit louder since that is kind of a problem if you happen to be sitting across a table on a date and they wouldnt be able to hear what your saying...but I wouldnt go changing your personality for anybody. You will find a guy that will like you just the way you are igive it time...and dont sell yourself short.
