sum1 on yahoo answers said that if you eat something that is one gram of fat, then eat an apple, it will be like you never ate that one gram of fat. i hope this is true, is it? thanks and God bless you!!!

Don't listen to that stupid Tricky Trucker. No one is tubby. Apples are excellent for your body. They clean your teeth, and best of all, if you eat a lot of them they DO help you lose weight!!!! I don't know if they actually take away fat, but they don't have a lot of calories and if you exercise regularly and eat them you'll see the pounds slipping away. Good luck :)

No, not true. There are no foods that magically erase fat. If there were, do you really think America would be facing the obesity crisis it is today? Apples are, however, still good for you and relatively low-calorie, even if they can't undo previous bad choices.

Apples are good for, as is most fruit. A good nutritious balanced diet and some general sensible daily excercise is the best way to stay healthy and maintain a healthy weight. If you are a teen remember you are still growing and so you need to give your hormones and metabolism a chance to settle!

No. burning calories don't take away fat. Apples are good for you, but they are not going to make something fattening that you ate disappear. They are low in fat and calories, and high in fiber.

Apple is fibre and low in calories hence more calories will be spend breaking up the apple so some fat will be spend

It might be true.But it truly matters on the kind of apple you eat. I know its the same with celery because it is mostly water so your accually burning carbs.
