Amazing Grace, How Great Thou Art are also favourites of mine. I also like O My Father.

Although not a singer I do enjoy singing hymns in Church on Sunday, hearing a good choir sing hymns is wonderful - my favourite being the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and to hear them sing any of the above is very spiritual.

Wonder what we will be singing tomorrow.

'Amazing Grace' can easily reduce me to tears. I love 'Jerusalem' too, but it's a bit over-used these days.

The hymns I like the best are by Charles Wesley - he seems to have written several good ones and what they have in common is excellent tunes. Some are really hypnotic, and I almost feel elevated to another place when I'm singing them. Sorry, can't remember any titles, but similar to 'How Great Thou Art'.

In some, they nevertheless do. we ought to wish in assembly, and that i do no longer refuse, because of the fact I admire the individuals who have self belief that's going to do something. In my customary college a guy got here in as quickly as a month with a canvas and paints, and extra or less painted out a scene on the same time as telling us a tale - and he made us all snicker too. And on the top of it? a ethical with something to do with God. Or Jesus. i might desire my infants to be respectful, no longer ignorant. My mom became observed a heavy Christian, and that i do no longer fairly think of she's an atheist now; and my dad's a intense atheist. I enjoyed staring on the Steven Hawking classes while i became twelve because of the fact i chanced on them very interesting, and so did my father. i'm actual an miraculous non secular Philosophy student, yet i don't have self belief it what i'm writing approximately. suits me merely effective, because of the fact faith has executed loads of issues, some undesirable and a few sturdy. Does it no longer ensue to three those that faith stops human beings taking drugs, smoking, and having underage intercourse? It has additionally been a assertion of peace, for individuals like Gandhi and Martin Luther King. the two great human beings. of direction, human beings do stupid and reckless issues interior the call of religion, and that i'm no longer discounting that, yet some human beings are very biased, which bothers me. Rambling slightly there, yet I had to make my element :)
