I would take her to the vet. I have heard of cat's peeing in weird places because they are trying to alert their owners that something is wrong. (My friend's cat did this and she was having bladder infection problems). As far as the kittens, I'm not sure about that one. Maybe she just is not feeling well? But I don't know. Call the vet, explain the situation to them, and hopefully they will be able to help.
Good luck!

See that is sort of the same problem that my cat was having when we invited a new cat into the house. My cat wouldn't want to use the litter box. So I bought another litter box and put it in my room, where the other cats don't go. And it solved the problem. Yes I think that your cat could probably be jealous. So put the litter box in a place where the new kitties don't go. But I don't think that she has something wrong with her, unless it is still a problem after about 3 weeks, then I would suggest asking the vet. I hope I helped!!!

She's territorial. Obviously that is her place, she is obviously the leader and she wants the kitties to know that.
But it may have a lot to do with her litter box and its location. I would suggest moving the litter box away from the kitties and clean it regularly!! Most cats will not use a litter box if it is to full.

I've heard of cats doing this when they have bladder infections. Also some cats get really particular about their cat box being clean. Now that she is sharing it with other cats you may need to clean it frequently. Sometime just changing the litter is not enough, actually need to rinse out the box. As far as her issues with the other kittens it is a territory thing. Just wants them to know she is the top. More so since they are not her own she will be territorial. Give it time, good luck!

I think that is is a behavior problem. New Kitties, so she wants her privacy. Put a pan in the basement.....a new pan for the new kitties in their area. New kitties should be intorduced slowly like put them in a carrier in your living space for a short period of time and let the older kitty investigate at her leisure. Try to do this each day until it no longer becomes an issue for the new kitties or the older cat. Bonding comes gradually. Good luck

Cats are not good with change, they will urinate & poop in strange places alot of times when their routine is interrupted, whether its a new pet, company, a new baby, a move. What I would try is to move her litter box as far away from the new kitties as you can, in the mean time don't try and force her to interact with your new guys, give her some time & she should finally accept them.. Good luck

Move their cages away or move her litter box. May be she does not want to pee when others are watching.
