I like this boy and I think he likes me and he might ask me out and I really want to say yes. Plus I'm really lonely and been dreaming about having a boyfriend for years ever since my best friend got her first BF. I can't make up my mind.

how old are you????? any way...talk to your parents and let them know that you need them to be there for you on all occasions. Is pretty sad to have to hide your feelings from your parents when what you need is guidance and advice from them. It can lead to lack of comunication adn i'm sure that is not what they want. Be honest and remember that they want what is best for you!!!!!

First off, stop being a follower. So what your friend has a man. That doesn't mean you should have one too.

I can tell that you are young since your parents are telling you that you cannot go out with anyone. Listen to them. When you get an adult then you can make your own decisions.

Now on the other hand if you're 18 or above, then yes you should go out with this young guy. Your parents can't keep you hidden forever. I'm a parent so I know!

First of all, how old are you? If you are under 16, then I say no, listen to your parents. If you are over 16, then talk to your parents and ask them why they don't want you to go out with anyone, maybe they would be comfortable with group dates? Don't use your best friend as a measuring stick, her parents may be more lenient. If you disobey your parents you will wind up in trouble! Make sure you talk to them and give them a chance to change to their minds.

Straight up - how old are you?

If you are 17 or 18 years old, then think about it.

If you are 15 or 16 years old, then you would be putting yourself into the path of a train wreck, don't do it! Talk to your parents first.

If you are 10 - 14 years old, then NO! Absolutely not!
Don't do what your parents say no to.
You may end your date in jail, or worse.

Keep dreaming about having a boyfriend.
The dreams are almost always better than the actually having one!

It would help us to help you if we new your age .If your at least 14 or 15 then a boyfriend is ok but no sex 18 or above you should be able to choose yourself .Parents never want there children to grow up and have their first boy friend or girlfriend but once you start they get use to it .Esspecially if they taught you right from wrong.Goodluck if you become sexually active make sure the boy wears a condom.

Depending on your age you should listen to your parents. But if you truly feel you like this boy then go ahead take a chance if you think your parents might except this later but if you think they'll think you betrayed them then absolutely do not go out with anyone now.

Your parents are the ones who will never leave you behind. They have been through everything you are going to go through, so they have experience behind their wisdom. If you honestly do not understand their rules, TALK TO THEM. Do NOT just go behind their backs and sneak around at night with some guy who may end up being something you did not realize. They are with you to help you through any tought decisions, so let them help and talk with them about everything you are feeling. And dont forget to LISTEN.

Try to be urself, u re not ur bestfriend. If this guy asks u out n u trust ur mom or dad u can tell them abt this guy n tell them he wants 2 take u out n if ur mom or dad trust u they will definately let u go since u re not normally aloud 2 go out.

But one thin, never compare urself to anybody.

Since you live under your parent's roof and they are responsible for you and they pay for probably everything you have I suggest you listen to your parents. If you don't want to follow their rules I can only suggest you move out on your own be responsible for your own rent, groceries, internet bill, cable television bill, water electricity, phone, sewer, clothes.
