First of all, anybody playing with a poker bot should be banned from on-line poker for life. In old Vegas you'd find yourself in an unmarked grave somewhere out the desert if you caught cheating. That being said computer programs can't out play skilled humans who are capable of adapting to their predictable patterns. Poker bots are a scam to make money of the lazy and the stupid.

I would never use one myself... but I'm not that interested in making money from poker - I just like playing (okay, I'm comlpetely addicted to it).....

I've got to say that I have a hard time believing what Sally said in the first answer... it would be pretty difficult to tell the difference between a poker bot and a super tight/predictable player. As for taking the money from the cheater and distributing it back to the people they got it from -- that is absurd. If anything the site would take their money and keep it for themselves... you can be damn sure they wont take the time to find out who the bot won money from and return it to them.

I've tried a couple, but from what I've seen none of the completely automatic solutions are very efficient at all.

Try taking a look here...

There are some excellent poker software apps on this site and none, as far as I'm aware, will get you barred. If you play in tournaments, sit-and-go's or MTTs, then try "Sit and Go Shark" as it's excellent - I use it all the time myself too!

Nope, everytime one shows up people detect it and the site bans the player and returns to their money to the people they won it from.
