Yes half relations are joined by blood wheras step relations are joined by marriage.

Step relations are not actually related to you in any way other than marriage. for instance if your mother married a man who already had a daughter then she would become your step sister. whereas if your mother married a man and then had a baby girl by that man she would be your half sister. because she has half the same blood as you (from your mother) but half from the man your mother married that is no relation to yourself!

Most definitely. A "step" brother or sister is not related by blood the connection is only due their respective parents being married. Whereas a "half" brother or sister has one parent in common with another child/person.

Half sister mean they have your mom or your dad but don't both. Step is that your mom or dad meets someone and the person that he meet all ready had a child and don't is only your sister by marrigaige.
