Try any of these.

Put loads of conditioner in your hair, place a shower cap on your head, and sit under the hair dryer. The heat will cause the glue to melt a little and the condtioner will help in the ease of the hair sliding from the glue. Repeat step as needed. Just make sure you are as patient as you can be... because alot of yanking and pulling will definately damage your hair
Always does! Get either braided tracks with sewn in weave or clip in Weave. Glue pulls the hair out from the root. Though its quicker, easier and less expensive, not the best solution.

Apply some grease or oil sheen spray and apply it to the glue and all over your head, and wait a minute, then the glue should slide right off.

If its a Super Glue type adhesive...Put some Acetone on a paper towel. And put this on the spot where the glue is. Let it soak for about 5 minutes. Kind of rub it back and forth on the glue. You may have to do this for couple of trys... It will soften up and eventually remove the glue.. Acetone is the solvent that we use to break up the isocyanate's in super glue. Also make sure you have a really good conditioner to put in your hair when you get the stuff out. And ice will work on chewing gum. Adhesives don't have much interest in temperature. Good luck. Hopefully you don't have to resort to scissors.

You want to get some cheap conditioner, like Suave and coat your hair with it, coat it very well, let it sit for about 15 minutes to let that part of your hair get extremely soggy and then take a small tooth comb and start at the bottom of the glued section and comb it out from the bottom. But the next time, please get your extensions sewn in. My best friend gets hair extensions all the time and they look absolutely great on her but I have hated to see her try to get the glue out. I usually end up conditioning her head and combing the glue out myself but I have begged her to get them sewn in and since she has her hair has grown out tremendously and she doesnt damage her hair when she gets them put in. It doesnt have to cost a lot. You dont even have to go to a salon. You can go to the African Braiding Specialist and they will sew your hair very tight and sew in the extensions for a pretty good price. Just google African Braiding in your area. You'll be on your way to healthier hair.

I can recall having glue in my hair, I remember my mother putting peanut butter in my hair and wrapping it and putting her dryer on it. When it dried it looked like a spider web and when the dryer stopped after 30 minutes my mother took the tweezers and it all came out.

Okay, I have had a similar problem; here's what I did, I used a serum, like the Frizz Ease stuff, and that's it. I did not fool with it, I did not want to make it worse. Eventually it came out. Just be patient and don't let it bother you.

Maybe you'll have to cut it out. But before that, I really suggest that you go see a hair stylist. But don't let them talk you into buying some really expensive stuff. Go to more than one place, I guess, and get other opinions. Good Luck!

Why don't you cut it out? Then you can go see a hair stylist to get a new do. I got gum in my hair once and the more that I mess with it the worse it gets. I had to cut it out and get a new do. It was sort of fun trying a new do. I don't want anymore gum in my hair though.

I will suggest using an organic solvent, you can try 100% ethanol or isopropanol. If it still doesn't come off, try acetone (nail polish remover).
