It is not necessary that you shoud worship any God also. One can worship one God or many Gods as it pleases him . Whethere you worship one God or many , you worship God . There is no questioin of one being bettere than one .You can worship one God alone too. Even , you can worship one person also a God , if hedeserves such a respect .It is nt necessary that he should be the one who created the universe. He who created the universe is not visible in single form. as it is HE who manifests as the Unverse itslef .It is just like a MAN. You call a being as a man , if he has one head erect with two eyes in the front and a nose in between and a mouth with beatifully shapoed horizantal lips , the head beiong postioned on a short almost cylindrical head positined at on top of the torso in between the two ahoulders , tha torso havig two dextrous arms that can do any wonderful job the whole body placed on two strong legs etc etc . Now if the nose or an eye alone of the man is taken out separately and shown to you , you would not call it aman . though you might say that they are of ahuman being , but they are not a man.so alos any part of the body itself dose not make the man and all the parts, the multiple parts put togethere in proper shape make one sijngle man.The man is not a man without these parts too and the parts also are not a man without all of them being together. So is the Universe and the universal manifestatioin of God . He is not just a part of the Universe as some religons might say , but he is the Univers and that is why you cannnot see him as an isolated part of individual. So you can worship anything as God is in anything and every thing and nothing is is excepted . That why God is known to be Omnipresent .In the whole world it the the grand oldest religion , the HIndu religion alone has coceived this omnipresence of God which has been proved even by the modern scientific research that all things in this universe without exception are made of the same building blocks .
In the Indian culture , mother is the first God of any creature as she grows the foetus in her womb with her own blood ,she eats for the foetus , she breathes for the foetus and she instals the most essential operating system soft ware in your brain by her thought whiel your brain develops in her womb .This is proved by an instnce in Mahabharahtha while Krishna's explantion of PADMA VIYUHA a special deployment of forces in the battle field is listened to by Abhimanyu and understood by him while he is in the womb of his mother subadra , krishna's sister. Scientific reserach has proved that the foetus can listen to sounds and respond also .
The Omnipresence of the God is vividly portrayed by Lord Krishna himself who displays his totality in the shape of the Universe itself to Arjuna at his request to show him who HE the God is .
Krsihna alss teaches you that he is the life of eerything and he is everybody without favour or fear and without any bias towards any one including a sinner .For him the sinner and the saint are the same and he works for efery one of his creation. The good and bd for you are done by yourself by your own action . You reap what you sow and God does ot interfere with what you do ,
So it is all thesame what ever and whom so ever you worship. According to the Hindus generallthe the prsons who are considered as Gods and even above the Gods are , the MOTHER , THE FATHER, THE TEACHER , THE KING AND THE GOD .in the same order . But these people deserved the status in those days . Now it is only the first two who deserve any respect as Gods and the rest not so much.

think of a pair of baby. he's put in a school. First he learns Alphabets, then words, then sentences and then he learns theories etc. What might you're saying ? Are the theories better than sentences ? Are the sentences better than words ? Are the alphabets inferior of all ? of course, evidently like. yet as you are able to truly understand here that if he had not learn what u think of is inferior, he might desire to not learn the flaws u call better. that means that each and every thing has its very own importance in existence and not something is rather better or inferior. if reality be told, comparable inferior issues come decrease back to you in existence if u incredibly stay. So, Buddhism might desire to probably be a desire of the hour while it originated, and of the placement and stipulations the place it originated. All religions have been like this. by way of fact this worldwide runs on an astounding device of nature. so a techniques as worshipping God is worried, we don't might desire to worship God; we'd desire to worship diverse religious ingredients like Krishna, like Rama, like Parvati and Shiva, etc. the income isn't worldly, that's religious. Religions entice people in the direction of those ingredients so as that they may well be pushed to spirituality some day. so a techniques as their not assisting is worried, they actually under no circumstances help except they see that the guy's perception in them may well be incredibly severe in the event that they help. by way of fact believing with all your heart is what you desire first and maximum, to upward push your self spiritually.

I agree to most extent. I know there is only one god, Worshipping many gods let me free from stucking my head on him, and can go with my normal life, because god is there to worship and to be crazy about him. And there is still room for people who tend to be great devotees.

i worship many. i find that it works better for me, because each god/goddess has a specific area that they will help you with.
and they are not jealous gods, so i am free to worship and ask help from gods of other faiths if i see the need.
i am free to participate in the rituals of different religions and to learn more about all of the people of the earth.
i also think that polythesim promotes more learning and actual liveing than monothesim does, because if the edicts of a certain god do not sit well with us we can simply not follow that paticular god.
kind of like God condoned murder and war do not sit well with me so i do not follow many of the Norse gods, or the Christian god. or the gods of death and destruction.

It couldn't hurt to cover you butt when it's time for the big Guy or big Guys to make their eternal decisions on your whereabouts. I would worship the god of toilets if going to heaven and having a place to do my big job depended on it. So there you go. Praise be the god of Yahoo

every thing in this cosmos is god manifested. we have more than 6 billion god on earth, i dont know the numbers in animals. but thats a pretty good number, from both land and water. then add the bacterieas and viruses, rock, sand, mountains and eveything.
i agree. its the right way. because everybody is god manifested. why fight over small things.

Most Christians do that now to some extent. They form rituals designed to appease pagan gods, though now they call them Christian. A rose of any other name is still a rose. Consider the Yule log which was used to sacrifice children on. The rabbit and the egg, which represented sex and reproduction. Renaming it Christian does not change its spots or its origins.
