I am in a new relationship, 3 weeks now, and Ive noticed my man rarley makes eye contact, this is including when he says goodbye, During love making and when talking to me, whats up with this? I have never had this experience, I was married 14 yrs and since then had 1 other long relationship and eye contact was almost as intense as making love , I love looking into the soul.

This is brief and there is a lot more I would like to say to you but to get the point across all I can say is get a psychologist, not a psychiatrist, a psychologist who will talk it through with you. This same thing happened to me, and even when I did finally get in a relationship again, I went around it the whole wrong way and I was somewhat abusive for a while because I was so scared of being abused, friends are great but the only thing that really helps is a psychologist otherwise all the weird ideas that have been put in your head just manifest.

He's shy. Maybe you're so pretty it scares him.
Men usually can't be changed on important issues (women always think they can do it), but it's worth talking to him about. After all, there's nothing women enjoy more than properly training their man, and you'd be doing him a favor. Good luck.

In some cultures it is impolite.
People often call me shifty eyed.
Those that know me laugh because I am QUITE direct.
If he is of a different culture find out.
I cannot hold eye contact. Too ingrained in me.

He's probably pretty shy , I'm shy , And I Dont make much eye contact .

He's still uncomfortable.It will pass in time,if it don't it's his conscience and he may be attached to someone else.
