How can I tell my cousin I love her ?

I love my cousin.I wanna propose her.what should I say ?I just cant pop the question.she is my first cousin and one year older than me.I think she likes me but I'm not sure she loves me.what
should I do? I'm studying in another city and I don't know much about what's going on with her.

Very few places will allow first cousins to marry anyway, hon, so it wouldn't be possible or legal. Find someone new.

I have read several of the answers and I agree that first cousins shouldn't marry but I don't think your sick! Like someone else said, you can't help who you fall in love with~if you truly are in love. But you sound pretty young to me and could it just be that you are very attracted to this cousin? I ask this because it doesn't sound like you really know her very well. If you truly feel that you do love her, there are several things you should think about. How the whole family will react/feel about the two of you together, what the problems may be for any children you have; both physically & mentally~if you think that these won't be a problem~talk to her. See how she feels about you & about cousins getting married. Whatever happens I wish you the best of luck with this situation.

First find out if its legal where you stay. Even if she is your cousin and you have known each other your whole lives you cant just jump into something when you havent done things the proper way, as in having a normal relationship first. You dont even know if she feels the same way

You need to seriously sit down with her and talk about this, if your determined to do this. There are alot of things you have to work out with each other . It's also the only way to find out. You COULD use email or the telephone but that's too impersonal. you need to look into her eyes as you tell her, to see if she feels the same or is repulsed by the idea.

umm....is it ok to marry your cousin i mean i thought it was incest. if you had kids what would you explain to them oh kids by the way im your daddy and your cousin! i think that might be a little frowned upon by family and society. BUT you cannot help it if you fell in love with her.

Look you might like or love your cousin but if you don't know much about her then how can you have feelings for her, your probably physically attracted to her and if you ae then tell her and see what happens.

I would rethink this if I were you. Relationships between cousins, especially first cousins, are frowned upon because of incest connotations. Any children born from such a relationship have a greater chance of defects because of the genetic similarities of the parents.

well... ASK her first b4 you propose and put your self in an embarrassing situation...maybe she likes you as a cousin not as a lover...even if she's 10 minutes away from your home town you have to go and see her sit with her and discuss it with her...see her facial expressions...

well it's strange that you're in love with your cousin, and i don't know if that's legal. but don't talk to her about it until you're sure she has feelings back. because that would be awkward for the whole family. maybe just wait a little longer and see what happens?
