Alright. I didn't/am not going to go to the doctor because it's too cold out, and far too windy. I also don't have a working thermometer. So, here are my symptoms:

- Warm forehead, cheeks, and neck
- Dizzyness
- Nausea
- Constant feeling of near fainting
- 104 bpm
- Hot Flashes
- Cold Flashes

Before someone suggests it's my period or menopause, I'm not do for my period for at least another 20 days. As for menopause, I'm 16, so, that doesn't work. It's not lack of sleep, either. I slept for 11 hours last night.

I have been trying to keep my sugar up (peppermints) , my water up (Diet Coke), and some food in my stomach (1/4 a bowl of oatmeal). Whenever I eat or drink anything, I feel more sick, though.

What's up with me? Any way I can make myself get better?

I'm still reeling from the fact that you won't go to the doctor because it's too windy. Anyway...it sounds like it might be the flu. Make sure you get plenty of rest, drink alot of water or Gatorade and make sure you try to eat at least small amounts of food. However, I'm not a doctor...if you don't start feeling better in a few days, you really need to be checked out.

It's probably just a virus. There isn't much a doctor can do anyway. Viruses just have to run thier course and you'll get better.

Diet Coke isn't a good source of water either. Try mineral water. and just chill out for a few days and stay on the couch or in bed. Watch TV or play some card games.

I agree with the flu. Lay off the cola - it has sodium, and will make you more thirsty. Drink water, or better yet juice, gatorade, or weak tea. Try some toast. Lay down, curl up with a good book. If you don't get better in a day or so, or start to feel worse, go to a doctor right away. Hope you feel better soon!

yep, the flu. give it a few days to work through your system. if your symptoms get any worse maybe you need to throw on a jacket and see a doc. ask one of your friends to bring over a thermometer, you want to make sure your temp. doesn't get too high. step away from the diet coke and stick to water. ya, yukky, but it is the best thing for you. if you can get your hands on some kind of clear broth soup that would kill two birds with one stone...food and liquids. good luck and feel better.

Diet Coke is a dehydrater, you need to be drinking water and juice instead! You need to see a doctor asap if you feel like you are going to pass out.

Sounds like a type of flu

My advice is to stay home, have a lot of warm fluids, and some anti-biotics, and stay warm

question: You mentioned you're a pagan, what does that mean?

sounds like the flu - get lots of rest, drink lots of clear liquids - diet coke doesn't count, it has caffeine and caffeine will act as a diuretic and cause your body to eliminate water that it needs - clear, non-caffienated liquids.
