My friend and I were thinking of sharing a party since our birthdays are 5 days apart. we were gonna invite a lot of ppl and have it at the club house.
do you think we would get less presents if we shared a party??
like say someone each gave us a giftcard..do you think they'd put less on it since they would have to get 2 presents??
i'm not trying to be greedy or anything..
but i was just wondering!!
thanks. ♥

yes, you would generally get less, but if they are poilite they will give you each DIFFERENT presents. just enjoy the party, the best gift of all is the company of friends and having a good time.

and oh i dont think you are greedy, we all have an inner greed monster, do we not? ♥

It does seem like you are being a little greedy there. Remember the ole saying " giving is better then receiving" I would just relax & enjoy the party & be happy you have many friends that care about you. It's not the gift that counts.

No, you would get the same amount as if you and your friend had two different parties. More people would even show up since they don't have to decide which party to go to.

If the presents are more important to you than the company of friends and family...maybe you better rethink why people give parties...

First you most likely share the costs, but if people are nice they give you both presents.

You seem to be a bit greedy.
Is it just about the gifts you get?
Isn't just celebrating your birthday with your friends good enough?
How old are you?
