According to the Joint Chief of Staff, the Army War College and Janes even with nukes Red China would win and North Korea would be questionable, These of you who know how to read take a look at the history books and what happened when the waves of Chinese and the waves of North Vietnamese attacked nothing in our arsenals could stop them. When Mao said go ahead and do me a favor and attack with the A-bomb, he already knew the answer. The only was we could win is to drop enough bombs to make the world uninhabitable for everyone. technology does not mean a thing in the face of numbers ask Custer.

God Bless You and the Southern People.

Given good leadership, none. The British, French, Germans, and Israelis have high quality forces, but not numbers. The Chinese have a large, tough military but not the technology. N. Korea the same. The weakness of our military today in my opinion is the leadership is a bureaucracy. You have to play by the rules to get anywhere near the top in today's military. There are no more Patton's. The fact is great leaders of the past, like Andrew Jackson and Nathan Bedford Forrest would not even be allowed to join as a private today, at least in Forrest case because he only had a third grade formal education. There is no room for genius anymore and that is a weakness.

it would be a similar. Minus some thousand or so. we'd freshen up and circulate on. that's what we do. the middle East might under no circumstances be a similar nevertheless. There may well be an attack via the U. S. and that is allies like no one has ever even seen in the previous. Terrorists are smarter than you think of. they don't probably desire to circulate there.

Last time I checked the insurgents are taking back over Iraq, and they do not have Nuclear Weapons. We retreated out of Somalia and Vietnam...no nukes there. We have been in a draw against the North Koreans since the 1950's...oh wait they have a nuke, so never mind. But we think we're the best, and that's what counts.
Go Team USA!

I agree with CuervoBMe, China would be able to beat us, by simple numbers. There was a study done years ago, and published somewhere I can't remember, and the numbers were scary. Their forces of ground and armor numbers blew ours away.

No one. As things stand right now, the U.S. military is the best trained, most well equipped and technologically advanced military in the world. The chinese, however, are quickly catching up.

Probably no other single country, but that doesn't mean anything whatsoever aside from giving fifteen year old guys who play Counterstrike seven hours a day something to be proud about.

My only comment about people's comments regarding China is how would they get their troops over here? They may have many more soldiers than our army, but our Navy is second to none. We'd wipe them out before they got a single ship or sub near our coasts.
