i normally only watch toddler at the oldest 5 however a new family i meet needs me to sit there toddler and 10 year old i dont want to make him feel left out or treated like and little boy any advice on what things i can do

How old are you? If i were you , for the time ,have the eldest play some games .. I recommend the xbox or playstation or computer games.

Most 10 year olds are pretty good at entertaining themselves, just be sure to keep an eye on him since he will try to get away with murder if he is anything like most pre teen kids, but you can play video games with him, have him help you with dinner or clean up or stuff like that. Make sure you pay good attention to the toddler, but he can help you and when you can either read them both a book or have him read you a book, you can color with him if he likes that. Ask him what he likes to do, kids that age aren't usually afraid to tell you what they like, also, show interest in his room and toys, he will feel very important being able to show off his stuff to you.

I'm sure it will be okay to babysit him. He's 10 so he will probably have homework or games or books to read just don't try to babysit more than 3-4 kids at a time. That way you can keep an eye on everyone.
