Garlic powder, Italian seasoning a little onion powder or saute some onions and green peppers and add. Also can saute fresh garlic instead of the powder if you have it.

my father has this secret , and it was passed down for years, dont tell anyone, you try this, iam passing it on to you, use 1 tablespoon of worchesire steak sauce after simmering the sauce in a sauce pan, put that 1 tablespoon in and stir, or use over the groundmeat when you brown it, Oh soo good and tasty

One clove fresh garlic.
Some fresh oregano if you have it.
A dash of red wine.
The sausage should contain enough sage and fennel or cumin seed to do most of the work.
As you're close to ready, add freshly ground pepper and oregano (fresh or dried) to taste.

ok here it is super secret extra speical fixer upper for ragu
extra itailian seasoning
one can tomatoe soup per jar of Ragu
and a half a cup of sugar.
YUM YUM also fresh mushrooms

Oregano, parsley, thyme, basil, and a little chili powder are my standards...but you will really add flavor if you add some sauteed onions and peppers.
