for christmas this year im going to work on my g/fs car i dont know if i should beef up the stero or work under the hood what do you ladies think?

for a woman: make it look nice.....
what does she like? if she is a big music fan, get her a killer stereo... if she is a neat freak, get her a detail and nice rims and tires....
if she likes to speed, make it go vrrroooommmm
but, whatever you decide, remember its for a woman.. and make it PRETTY!!!!

Definitely under the hood that stereo can play all it wants but if the Car can't get be back in forth then it doesn;t do any good,put the money and hard work into something on the car that really needs it

Well if under the hood needs work that would make more sense. Without a good running car there's not much use for a great stereo.

Pioneer stereo with removable faceplate is the best. I had one put in and with the bass coming from it, you could barely hear the issues coming from under the hood. Just my opinion

Make sure it is something she can see, like a fancy new face plate for the stereo.

true, the car needs to run well, but you should already be doing that as a good boyfriend, if fixing cars is one of your talents.
