sorry to sound like every other person but you'll have to cut off the split ends! give your hair a trim, and have it trimmed at least every 6-8 weeks, and to protect your hair in future, use a good conditioner, and be sure to use an intense conditioner once a week, also try to use heat styling irons as little as possible, and when towel drying your hair, don't rub it, pat it, rubbing it gives it split ends. don't bush roughly. also use an repair shampoo made to nourish your hair. but keep in mind, these don't repair split ends, they just prevent further ones, so trims are still very important. now, all these precautions aren't going to completely get rid further split ends, but they'll improve them A LOT. your hair will be near perfect if you just follow those tips and trim your hair regularly. good luck!

The only way to rid of split ends is to cut them. You cant repair split hair.If you don't cut them it will continue splittin gup the hair shaft and your hair will begin to break off and look fuzzy abd unruly. I wiould suggest a trim and take better care of you hair by less blowdrying, curling ect.. If you still blow dry or curl use hairspray first to protect the hair from being further damage. Youi should get a trim every 6-8 weeks.Just a quarter of an inch is recommended,no huge haircutt ,just a trim..

The first thing you'd have to do is get a trim (every three months or so). You're probably getting split ends because your hair is brittle, weak, or you may be doing things to it that is causing this. Some tips:
*Don't brush your hair when it's still wet. This causes breakage. When you shampoo, comb your hair out with your fingers so that by the time you get out of the showers, it won't be as tangled. If you absolutely have to brush/comb your hair, use a wide-toothed comb.
*Use a shampoo that has nutrients (Pantene Pro V, Sunsilk, etc.). It makes your hair healthier and stronger. When you shampoo, also try rinsing in cool or cold water. (This makes it shinier, plus showering in cold makes you more awake and makes your skin have a creamier complexion.)
*When conditioning start with your ends first, working towards the roots. (You really don't absolutely need to condition your roots because that's where the natural oils in your hair is released. Oh, and if you use chemicals in your hair, you MUST use conditioner to keep it moisturized.)
*When you apply heat to your hair, use the lowest heat setting possible. (After applying heat, it would be good to dry your hair with the cool setting in your blowdryer to cool down your hair.)

brushing your hair too much and too much handling will give it split ends. so you should go ahead and get those end cut off. it will grow back soon enough. when you brush just do a quick brush so that the ends dont split. but you also dont want tangles cuz that will split the hair too. if you use a hair dryer then that will split it too. its better just to let the hair air dry. also dont brush it through out the day. just in the morning after you take a shower and then when its dry. after that dont cuz it will split

Trim your split ends, and get really good reconstructive, or protective shampoo and conditioner. If you blow dry, straighten or curl your hair a lot, that's probably the worst problem. Always use a heat protective cream or spray in your hair before you use any heat.

you have to get rid of the split ends first, nothing short of cutting them off will do the job correctly. you can either get your hair cut, or go through the tedious process of snipping the splits. after that, find a good conditioner and shampoo. ask your hairdresser what she would recommend - it's different for different hair types. i used joico for a long time - loved it! made my hair feel silky and it wasn't super expensive either. i could usually find it as a 2pack of the big bottles for $20-25. but to keep them away a salon quality product (i use tresseme now, but it isn't nearly as good as joico - i can't get joico where i am now) is a necessity!

What you need to do is drink lots of water. This hydrates your hair, making it super strong, soft, and shiny. Also, after you have a shower, dry your hair and don't move a lot, because if there is a lot of movement, the water in your hair eventually makes it split.

All you can do is get a haircut. All the shampoos and products in the world can't fix split ends, they only help keep your ends healthier right after you get it cut. But they cannot fix it.
